Crooked River Math Teacher's Circle

About Us
The Crooked River Math Teachers' Circle is a group of educators who have caught the mathematics bug. We love math, or are at least curious enough to learn something new. We gather in order to experience the joy and creativity of doing mathematics, no strings attached. Mathematics does not involve problem solving, inquiry, sense-making and reasoning, but rather IS all of these things. We believe everyone is a capable mathematician when given the opportunity to truly engage mathematically. We hope that during the process of doing mathematics together we will build relationships among university faculty and area mathematics teachers for the purpose of making mathematics a wonderfully contagious epidemic in our teachers and their classrooms.
