Euclid STEM Students Use Coding to Create Their Own Graphics

This week, students in Mrs. Spohn and Mrs. Borally’s classes are diving into coding through Code.org in Mrs. Weeder’s Technology Class. Students are designing their own dancers, mixing custom music, and using block coding to make their creations move and perform at different points in their program. The excitement has been contagious as students watch their ideas come to life on screen.

As part of Chardon Hills’ STEM curriculum, Mrs. Weeder’s Technology class is embedded into every student’s weekly schedule. Through this integrated approach, classroom concepts blend seamlessly with hands-on digital learning, empowering students to develop critical engineering, problem-solving, and technology skills. This early exposure helps build confidence and curiosity—qualities that will carry them far beyond the classroom.

Chardon Hills continues to spark innovation and creativity, one line of code at a time!
