The Northeast Ohio Career Pathway Support Network (NEO CPSN) Advising and Mentoring Subcommittee overarching goal is ensuring all students have access to high-quality, equitable career advising and mentoring services across the region. Through collaboration among Career-Technical Planning Districts, Local Education Agencies, workforce partners, and postsecondary institutions, the subcommittee works to strengthen systems that help students explore career pathways, set informed goals, and successfully navigate education and training opportunities. The group identifies best practices, develops shared tools and resources, and supports professional learning to build advising and mentoring capacity within schools. In alignment with regional workforce priorities, the subcommittee also promotes clear communication of career pathways to students and families, helping create seamless “on and off ramps” connected to high-demand industries. This is an opportunity to inform the direction of career advising and mentoring, gain practical support in program implementation, and learn from other practitioners in the field. All are welcome, with the ideal audience being Curriculum Directors, School Counselors, Career Navigators, Middle School Principals, CTE Directors, and other interested Educators.
