Heidi Kerchenski is an Urban PBIS Specialist with the State Support Team Region 3 at the Educational Service Center (ESC) of Northeast Ohio. With 33 years of experience, Heidi supports districts and buildings with the implementation of the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) framework.

Heidi began her career as a middle school English-language arts teacher in East Cleveland City Schools. She went on to become a literacy coach and district administrator. For the past 13 years, she has supported schools and districts in northeast Ohio with coaching, technical assistance, and professional development in behavioral supports. Heidi also served as a member of the Ohio PBIS Network and contributed to the development and implementation of the PBIS training in Ohio.
