Kim Eckhart is a consultant on the Safe Babies Ohio program, a partnership between the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio (ESC), Groundwork Ohio, and ZERO TO THREE, whose goal is to strengthen families and prevent babies and toddlers from being removed from their homes due to involvement with child protective services. She supports the program by facilitating data collection and using it for evaluation and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Prior to working at the ESC, Kim was a Research Manager for the Children's Defense Fund-Ohio, a public policy advocacy organization, where she worked for system-level change for children and youth affected by the child welfare system. She published data reports and designed interactive data dashboards related to child wellbeing. She has published articles with UNICEF USA and as a Research Associate with The Ohio State University.
Kim received her Bachelor's Degree in International Development from Marietta College and Master's of Science in Economics from The Ohio State University.
Kim lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and two children.
