Join
us for a two-day training focused on developing and implementing
Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans
(BIP) for students with significant behavioral needs.
This
session will explore key components of the FBA/BIP process, including
how to conduct formal behavior assessments, write effective plans, and
implement strategies that reduce time out of instruction and increase
student engagement.
Designed for school teams
and personnel supporting students with intensive behavior needs, this
training is ideal for general education staff, special education staff,
counselors, school psychologists, administrators, related service
providers, and outside agency partners. This training is especially
beneficial for LEAs or districts that have received federal
identification for disproportionality in student identification or
discipline.
FBA/BIP supports are among the most
individualized interventions schools offer. These data-driven plans
often address behavioral and academic goals to help students succeed in
the classroom while reducing the risk of disproportionality in
identification and discipline.
