Michele Gaski directs the school improvement initiatives for the Educational Service Center (ESC) of Northeast Ohio under the auspices of the Ohio State System of Support known as the State Support Team (SST) for Region 3 (Cuyahoga County). In this role, she serves as a liaison to the Ohio Department of Education (Office of Exceptional Children OEC and the Office of Ohio Network for Innovation and Improvement ONII) regarding all school improvement initiatives within the county. She supervises the full implementation of all aspects of the SST scope of work while ensuring adherence and fidelity to the Ohio Improvement Processes and tools. In addition, Michele collaborates with districts, agencies and organizations to leverage resources and expertise for the delivery of regional services based on critical needs identified by districts and community schools within the region. 

Michele has worked in the public education setting for over 35 years. She has served as a classroom teacher and building administrator (elementary level) in Portage County (James A. Garfield Local Schools), Curriculum, Instructional, and Assessment Consultant for the Mahoning County Educational Service Center as well as Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Summit County Educational Service Center. After obtaining her Gifted Endorsement, Michele had the opportunity to provide Gifted and Talented consultation for the Revere Local Schools in Summit County. 

In addition, Ms. Gaski served as an adjunct professor for Kent State University and The University of Akron. 

Ms. Gaski has given many professional presentations to such organizations as the Annual Literacy Conference, Battelle for Kids Conference, American Association of School Administrators (AASA) and the American Association of Educational Service Agencies (AAESA).
